For our location in the center of Rotterdam, we are looking for a technical and hands-on Application Support & Developer!

Your responsibilities are:

Within this role you will have a vital role in bridging the gap between the business and the IT department. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs and how they translate in application features.

Your main responsibilities include providing support and development for various applications, as well as taking part in new application requests, with a specific focus on Microsoft Azure Function Apps based on C#.

Besides that, maintain constructive relationships with functional application owners, external vendors, and technical teams within the IT department to foster effective communication and collaboration.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance;

• Integrate applications with other systems and platforms;

• Provide training and support to end users on new applications;

• Assist in managing system integrations, both with vendor and custom .Net applications;

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the application landscape for Olenex, comprehending business needs and suggesting optimal solutions for data integration;

• Ensure that critical business applications perform efficiently, are consistently available, and operate at peak performance levels;

• Regularly assess the current state of applications, identify areas for improvement, and propose changes to drive enhancements;

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain Azure Function App Connectors to align with business operations and software requirements. This includes maintaining and add-ons middleware solution with interfaces such as API including API Security and SFTP on Microsoft Azure, utilizing SQL Databases (Data Warehouse) that can be translated into Power BI Reporting for business analysis.

Who are you?

To excel in this role, you should bring a problem-solving way of working and an analytical way of thinking. You are a team player and a strong communicator. In addition, you have;

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;

• Up to 5 years’ proven experience as an application developer;

• Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture and Development based on web application in app service, key vault, storage and Azure Integration Services like function apps, integration account, azure function, service bus, event grid, API Management;

• Good understanding of interface mappings between ERP infrastructure and its various subsystems, relational databases, Datawarehouse design;

• Experience with Reporting in Power BI;

• C#, APIs, Front-end and Back-end development, SQL Databases & .NET knowledge and experience;

• Strong background in business partnering and relationship management;

• Fluent in English (verbal and in writing).
