BUSINESS ANALYST

Location: Central Post Rotterdam, The Netherlands

As a Business Analyst you will help our organization with keeping our data up to date and help our organization with making data-driven decisions. You create, maintain and provide reports and insights to decision-makers throughout the organization. Besides that, you will assist the operational PLM team in the day-to-day activities and use organizational knowledge and understanding of interdepartmental relations to support process improvements.

You will join the Product Line Management (PLM) team, which includes one Senior Planner and two Product Line Managers. In this role, you will hold a central position within the organization, collaborating with various departments and colleagues within Olenex. You will report directly to the Product Line Manager.

Your responsibilities are:

o Develop, maintain and improve datasets for commercial and operational data that are used throughout the organization;

o Provide actionable data to decision-makers;

o Understanding the business needs for data/reporting requirements and develop solutions that are fit for purpose;

o Proactively identify areas of reporting improvements and develop solutions;

o Initiate and/or support cross departmental operational efficiency projects;

o Develop and maintain a process/system for external market information such as: demand, competitors, product developments and trends;

o Enable this market intelligence to be used by the business on a daily basis;

o Support PLM team members with:

o Addressing demand related queries and issues in a timely manner;

o Optimizing and maintaining forecast models;

o Coordinate and enhance additives planning;

o Updating and communicating product availabilities.

o Initiate improvement projects where you see fit on operational and reporting level.

Who are you?

To excel in this role, you should be curious, eager to learn, and enjoy working with various types of data. You are an effective communicator who enjoys collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues.You are not afraid to come up with ideas and you are used to a proactive way of working. Besides that, you have;

o 3-5 year work experience in business analysis, analytics or in the supply chain area;

o Bachelor’s degree or similar;

o Excellent analytical, communication and technical skills;

o Advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI, Power Query & DAX (a must!);

o Able to operate individually as well as in a team;

o Experience with complex cost structure and/or accounting is a plus;

o Proficient in English and Dutch is a plus.
