TALENT ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

In this position, you will primarily focus on training and developing our colleagues. You will align the expectations of the organization with the talents and motivations of our people across all locations. This role involves facilitating employees, teams, and managers in establishing development plans to enhance growth and performance, while actively promoting the Olenex and HR mission, vision, and values.
You will become part of the project team responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive learning and development program as part of our HR Fit for Future initiative. This is a great opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of our HR practices.
Additionally, you will develop and execute recruitment strategies, manage the full recruitment cycle, and build relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders. You will represent Olenex at job fairs and networking events, enhance university relationships, and collaborate with the Marketing department to improve employer branding.
While you will oversee learning and development for all locations, your recruitment efforts will primarily focus on the Netherlands, with close collaboration with the German team. This role will also involve business travel between our locations to ensure effective collaboration and implementation of HR initiatives.
You will be an integral part of our dynamic HR Team, reporting to our Head of Human Resources. You will work closely with both teams in Holland and Germany.
Your responsibilities are:
· Developing and managing performance management processes to ensure continuous employee development and alignment with organizational goals.
· Identifying talent development needs and creating training programs.
· Coordinating and booking training, maintaining the training matrix.
· Advising employees on personal development.
· Leading recruitment processes and learning and development activities.
· Developing and executing recruitment strategies, managing the full recruitment cycle.
· Defining role requirements, screening candidates, and managing pipelines to offer acceptance.
· Building relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing updates and insights.
· Analyzing recruitment channels and metrics, adopting innovative methods.
· Representing Olenex at job fairs and networking events.
· Enhancing university relationships and implementing campus recruiting strategies.
Collaborating with Marketing to improve employer branding.
Job requirements
Who are you?
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field;
· Several years of work experience in HR, including recruitment experience in an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition role, is required;
· In-depth knowledge of recruitment, learning & development and talent management principles;
· Experience in training facilitation and knowledge of conversation and coaching techniques is a plus;
· Strong communication skills in English, Dutch and German (preferable);
· Ability to work autonomously, think on your feet, and adapt to change in a structured way;
· Ability to manage budgets and financial targets;
· Proficiency in tools like applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
