We are currently looking for a organized & communicative

Specification Analyst

to join our team at the Central Post office in the heart of Rotterdam.

As our Specification Analyst, you are the technical expert who connects our product portfolio with customer needs. You support colleagues across Product Development, Sales, Quality, Logistics, and Production while helping customers successfully apply our vegetable oils and fats in food and feed products. Through your technical knowledge and collaborative approach, you ensure our products meet specifications, perform optimally in diverse applications, and deliver value across a wide range of markets.

Outlook of your main responsibilities:

• Act as the go-to expert for technical product questions from customers and colleagues.

• Coordinate customer questionnaires and ensure accurate, timely technical responses.

• Manage and maintain product specifications within our specification management system.

• Contribute to the development of new products, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support the resolution of quality-related supply challenges and customer issues.

• Deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions across the business.

• Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and customer-facing materials.

• Participate in cross-functional projects that drive innovation and business growth.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role, ideally within the food, feed, or ingredients industry.

• Knowledge of vegetable oils, fats, and their applications.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

• Experience working with technical support and specification management systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Fluent in English; German or any another European language is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
